Each participant is encouraged to rally sponsors to pledge $0.01 per step walked during
the event.
Calculations:
• 6K Walk ≈ 7,500 steps or 3.73 miles = $75 in sponsor donations
• 10K Walk ≈ 10,000 steps or 6.2 miles = $100 in sponsor donations
